Reading the site
You can read everything without an account. We do not run analytics or tracking scripts of our own, and our fonts are served from this site rather than a third party. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against attacks; see the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Advertising
The site shows ads from Adsterra. When an ad loads, Adsterra and its partners may set cookies or use similar technologies and collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type to show and measure ads. We do not control this data. See the Adsterra privacy policy for what they collect and how to opt out. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Comment accounts
If you create an account to comment, we store:
- your username and a securely hashed version of your password (never the password itself);
- your comments, likes and points;
- a sign-in cookie (
auth_token) that keeps you logged in for up to 7 days. It is only set when you sign in.
Contact form
When you use the contact form, we store your name, your email address if you give one, your message, and the page you came from. To stop spam, we also store a one-way hash of your IP address, which cannot be turned back into the address. We use this only to reply to you and to handle corrections.
What we never do
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not share it with anyone except as needed to run the site, or when required by law.
Your choices
To see or delete your account, comments or contact messages, send a request through the contact form. The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
